From The
Camera Bag
The event ends, the photos land on the phone of the person who's in them.
SnapStream came directly out of the event work. We had spent years shooting launches and activations, and watched the same thing happen after every one: thousands of good photographs, dumped into a folder nobody opens.
So we built the delivery layer. A guest scans a QR code, sends a selfie on WhatsApp, and is done. Face recognition matches them across everything the photographers shot, and their own gallery arrives on WhatsApp, with no app to install, no account to create and no password to forget. Alongside it sits the public event feed: the organiser's curated wall, shareable with a single link.
Consent is given on WhatsApp, freely, and can be withdrawn at any time. The face identity that finds someone at one event finds them at the next.
It is the clearest example of how this studio now works. The insight came from holding the camera; the answer was software.
